About Living Well Cowboy Church

* * * * * * *

Living Well Cowboy Church is an event-based Christian ministry that hosts church services at local horse events or campgrounds. The ministry provides the opportunity for many to worship while they are participating in an event or camping and are away from home. A typical service includes a time of singing, a message, and a time of fellowship with coffee and donuts. We have a table set up with Bibles and other resource materials for your personal study. Although, no offering is taken, donations are welcome to help further the work of Living Well Cowboy Church. Donations can be placed in the boots on the resource table. Services typically last approximately 30-45 minutes.

Although the ministry takes place at horse events, you do not need to own a horse or be a horse person to enjoy Cowboy Church. In fact, participants in the team roping events that follow the services come from all walks of life. There are truck drivers, doctors, farriers, bank tellers, construction workers, small business owners, high school and college students, and many others. The impression that some get is that Cowboy Church is only for the "working cowboy." That is not the case. Few people may realize it, but Illinois has the fifth largest horse population in the United States which employs nearly 50,000 people.

John 4:35 says, "...I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."

What a great opportunity for Cowboy Church to reach so many people. Come and join us!
